*~WHAT'S ON MY MIND~*



Here's the dealy-o:

My dad, who is always trying to convince me to live off my art (with the biased opinion of a parent, he's convinced there are tons of people out there just waiting to buy what I draw xD) is going to try and get me a booth at a local Halloween event. He knows the guy who's running it and whatnot.

I'm gonna be doing cartoon portraits.

But I really need to practice so I'll be able to do them fast enough to actually make any money, and well enough that I won't be embarrassed to actually be asking payment for the things.

My dad's suggestion was to approach random people and ask to draw them. I'm not that brave.

Sooooo... I'm gonna offer to do free ones for you guys instead! Aren't you just so excited? xD

If you'd like one, I just need a photo of you to use for reference, preferably shoulders-up. The goal is to be able to finish them in about ten to fifteen minutes, so they'll be fairly sketchy.

I also need to know if it's okay to use the finished portrait in the mini-portfolio I'll be showing to the guy organizing the Halloween event.
